There are two schools in Portsmouth that benefit from annual donations made by our Company.
The donations allow an annual award to be made to a pupil who has excelled in history in each school.
There is also some help to a pupil or pupils allowing them to go on history trips that otherwise they might not have been able to afford.
The two schools are Mayfield School, North End and The Priory School, Fratton.
The winners of our 2010 prizes are:
Mayfield School - Haskell Memorial History Prize - Ollie Hurst and he received a large chess board with Egyptian style pieces plus certificate and name on engraved school-shield.
Priory School - KS3, Haskell History Prize for Outstanding Progress in History - Thomas Swinson and he received book vouchers plus certificate.
